Releasing the foot of "Corallimorpharia" mushroom anenomes..

I need to get the mushrooms anenomes to release without damaging them. Any ideas? Hyposalinity, temperature?

Rubbing an ice cube gently against the foot works well with anemones. Never tried it with shrooms but its worth a shot

Credit card slid under the foot works better with shrooms, IIRC. Kind of hard to get an ice cube to such a tiny foot.

I've also heard of people directing current toward the foot. Does that really work?

it would take a lot of current to blow a shroom off its rock. maybe try putting a couple cards into the freezer to chill them and then slide them under the shroom

Lol, and then aim a few powerheads right at it. That would REALLY tick it off.
